Cheguei, now what?: Kaiak, feast and goodbye

Day 6 - kaiaking

A bicicleta que eu usei era uma que eles emprestaram no lugar que eu tava ficando. A roda estava torta, ela fazia uma barulho cabuloso e o guidom era baixo demais e não tinha como arrumar, me fazendo pedalar toda corcunda. Eu achei que não dava pra ficar pior. Aí, rá! O pedal quebrou. Claro. Mas quem sou eu pra reclamar? A pobrezinha me serviu bem por muitos dias! Inclusive nesse dia fomos à mais uma aventura juntas!

The bike I was using was borrowed from the guest house I was staying in. The wheels were not straight, it made a terrible noise and the handlebars were too low and I couldn't fix the problem. I thought it couldn't get worse. Then, hah! The pedal broke. Of course it did. But who am I to complain? The poor little bike served me well for many days! Including on this day, when we went for another adventure together!

Eu decidi ir andar de caiaque, e o lugar que alugava os tais era láaaa do outro lado de onde eu tava ficando. E lá fui eu...pedalar, ficar perdida e ser perseguida por cinco cachorros de uma só vez! Ufa! mas eu cheguei lá! E a bicicleta sobreviveu também!

I decided to go kaiaking, and the place that rented them was on the ooother side of where I was staying, So there I went...riding, getting lost and being chased by five dogs at once! But I did get there! And the bike survived as well!

Na volta parei pra comprar àgua de coco com a fofa da Melissa!

On my way back, I stopped to buy coconuts from cute Melissa!

Day 7 - The feast!

De todos os programas feitos pra turista em Tonga, esse era o único que eu tinha certeza que eu queria fazer! Vai gostar de comida assim lá longe! E eu tava longe mesmo! =P

Comida boa, música boa e apresentações incríveis! Valeu a espera! =) Ah! Desculpa pela qualidade das fotos...:/

From all the events made for turists in Tonga, this was the only one I knew I was going to go to! hm...I like food! The feast was awesome! Good food, good music, and incredible performances! It was worth waiting! =) Ah! I apologize for the quality of the photos...:/

Bom, tem muito mais coisa que eu poderia te contar sobre Tonga. As pessoas de lá são muito amigáveis. Eles falam "bye" ao invés de "hi"quando você passa. Eles montam suas próprias barraquinhas na frente de casa, no meio do nada. E vendem de tudo! Tem muito porco também! Nas ruas! Não sei se tem mais porco ou cachorro!

Mas enfim, eu acho que já escrevi demais. =) Curte aí as últimas fotos!

Well, there's so much more I could tell you about Tonga...like...Tongans are really friendly. They say "bye", instead of "hi" when you walk passed them. They set their own stalls in front of their houses in the middle of nowhere. There are so many pigs around! On the streets! I don't know if there are more pigs or dogs.

But oh well, I think I've written too much. =) Enjoy the last photos!
